On August 6th KCDV (Keeshond Club of the Delaware Valley) hosted one day of a 3 day agility charity challenge. Agility teams consisting of 4-6 dog/handlers ran 4-5 courses each day. Teams won money for their selected charities by having the highest points in special classes or overall, for most Q’s, for volunteering the most, for best team spirit and best charity display. A team could also solicit money for their selected charity. KCDV offered dog tags that we made for a donation . Our final donation was $1141.
KCDV ‘s team (see picture) included KcDV members Lexie Billman, Barbara Eng, Daisy Kramer, and Lois Albright. The Keeshonden on the team were Lexie’s Tessa and Barbara’s Isadora. Both Daisy’s Sparkle and Lois’s Breeze were not able to run .
DOG T.A.G.S. Was our charity, it is a local group of volunteers who train veterans to train their support dogs. The veterans do not pay for this service. The service is solely supported by donations. You can read more on their website.
